Pods – FAQ’s

Can we book more than one pod?
Yes, you can book more than one pod using our booking system online at www.podsandpicnics.co.uk

Where do we book and how?
Visit www.podsandpicnics.co.uk, click on Pods & Picnics, click on the brunch or afternoon tea image and you can book from here using our online form.

Are dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs are welcome in the pods, however, we do ask that you attend the pod booking before a walk with your dog(s) due to the decor within our pods.

Do you cater for different dietary needs and allergies?
Yes, we have a Vegan and Gluten Free menu and all allergens will be listed on our website, if you are still unsure please contact us by email to hello@podsandpicnics.co.uk

Are there any discounts for children dining in the pods?
Yes, we have a children’s afternoon tea and a children’s brunch both priced at £15 per head.

What decorations can you provide? Can we bring our own?
We do have celebration packages available which can be preordered on our booking platform when you preorder your food. You can of course bring your own decorations, however, we do not allow confetti. Our team are happy to help decorate your pod for your arrival.

How long is each sitting and are we able to stay longer?
Our Brunch and Afternoon Tea bookings are a 2 hour sitting and unfortunately we do not allow extensions, however we do offer exclusive hire of the area for events so please contact hello@podsandpicnics.co.uk to find out more. For special events, please check the event details for the time allocated to the event.

What is included?
On arrival you will be welcomed by a host and introduced to your Pod host for the duration of your stay, you will then receive your preordered food (completed online when booking) which comes with unlimited tea and Americano. You will have the opportunity to order drinks throughout.

Is there wheelchair access?
Yes, we are accessible for wheelchairs via a ramp, unfortunately due to the capacity and table we can only accommodate 1 wheelchair per pod.

Do you have high chairs available?
Yes, we provide high chairs.

How many people fit into each Pod?
Our Pods can accommodate up to 8 guests at any one time, our minimum group size is 4 people.

What are the prices?
All of our menus and pricing are available online at www.podsandpicnics.co.uk, our pricing starts from £25 per adult and children dine for £15 per child.

Can I smoke or use E-Cigs?
Smoking is strictly forbidden this includes E-Cigs

What if it rains?
Currently, we have umbrellas available for your use to get you to your pod as dry as possible, however we are exploring options for a concierge cart to facilitate pick up & drop offs so watch this space!

What is you cancellation policy?
We offer a change of date policy and require 1 weeks notice, if you are unsure on the date we can provide gift vouchers instead.

What if I am late?
Your time allocation will start from the time your booking states, unfortunately there will be no extension – please do not be late, everything is made fresh to order and will be prepared for your arrival.

What should I wear?
There is no formal dress code, be as individual as you like.

Where are the toilets?
Toilets are located behind the pods in between The Tearooms and The Waffle Hut, you can access by following the path past the play park.

How do I provide feedback about my picnic?
Your feedback is really important to us. We will email you on the evening of your pod experience with a link so you can tell us about your experience and provide your feedback.
